The Australian Rugby League Masters program, designed to provide an opportunity for players and officials to continue their involvement in the game in a safe and enjoyable manner, today announced that Men of League will become one of their official charity partners.
ARL Community Football Manager Graham McNaney said “We look forward to a mutually beneficial long-term association. Our organizations have similar goals in that they are attracting former league people back to the game. The ARL Masters through their various avenues will be able to help promote the Men of League and its charter”.
“It’s a marriage made in rugby league heaven. Men of League believe this is a great partnership for both organisations due to the fact our core demographics are very similar” declared Men of League Chief Operating Officer Chris Bannerman. “We are excited about the partnership”.
This year the sixth annual ARL Masters Carnival will kick off at the Runaway Bay Junior Leagues Club on the Gold Coast on Wednesday the 7th of March. The carnival has had an extremely strong following and this year, 63 teams from Australia, New Zealand and Norfolk Island will be taking part. The Carnival will give ARL Masters the opportunity to provide much needed support to the Men of League Foundation.
