Grant Assistance Application Form
Grant Assistance is made available to those members of the Rugby League family who have fallen on hard times. Applicants must meet the following criteria:
· Have made a contribution to the game of Rugby League (eg player, referee, coaching staff, administrator, committeeperson, volunteer etc).
· Are suffering due to illness or injury.
· Is in financial hardship.
Sporting Chance Cancer Fund
This is Grant Assistance for cancer patients. See Criteria above for Grant Assistance Application Form.
Scholarship Application Form
A – Scholarship for injury hardship applicants
· Those who have had an active rugby league involvement, at all levels of the game i.e. NRL, Toyota Cup, Queensland Cup, FOGS Cup, NSW Premier League, Jim Beam Cup, junior reps, district junior leagues and A-grades, Country Rugby League and Queensland Rugby League, who have suffered career ending injuries.
· Players must have been involved with a club for at least one full season of rugby league prior to the injury.
B – Scholarship for unsuccessful NRL aspirants who made sacrifices to pursue a rugby league career:
§ Young player who made a personal, educational, training or career sacrifices to pursue an NRL career, only to be cut from the club.
§ This player must have been contracted to an NRL club and has failed to be re-contracted.
